5G is the fifth generation of broadband cellular in telecommunication.

In 2019, cellular phone companies started to use this worldwide.

Also, this is the planned heir of 4G which provides a network for us currently. In 2025, globally, the 5G network will have 1.7 billion subscribers.

Just like the predecessors of GSM, 5G networks are, cellular networks, including services that are divided into small geographical areas, which is known as a cell.

What are the important benefits of new networks are: it contains more bandwidth and it contains more download speed. In the end, it provides up to 10 GB per second.

Except 5G is faster than all existing networks, 5G can have the ability to connect more devices easily. Further Services are integrated for the people who are in the crowded area to improve the quality of their internet service. 

It can provide internet service for laptops and desktops because of the increased bandwidth. New applications are creating more on the internet. From things and machines to mechanical parts.

Smartphones which are capable of having 4G networks cannot be able to use new networks. For this, we need 5G-enabled wireless devices.

Advantages of using 5G are:

  • It is a much cleverer and more effective network.

Disadvantages of using 5G are:
  • Technology is still under usage, and research is going on the reliability of its.
  • It is not possible to get the speed provided by the technology due to some incompetent technologies in most areas of the world. 
  • High costs are needed to develop infrastructure.
  • The privacy issue is not yet solved, and the security issue is also not yet solved.
